I bought a wedding gift off an online registry for my Argentinean friend who is marrying a Swiss man this weekend. After the wedding in Vegas she will move to Switzerland with him, hence the registry is with a Swiss department store. When I picked my steel knife sharpeners and proceeded to check out, I had to choose a title.. Mr. Mrs. or both. Those were my only options. I declined. Then the dialogue box popped up telling me I had to choose a title or else.
Sadly, I clicked Mrs.
Mrs. Caitlyn Bodine. And I felt old. At least when my order came up at the end it said Frau Caitlyn instead of Mrs. Caitlyn.
But shouldn't it be Fraulein or something? Like Fraulein Maria and the Von Trapp family?
