That's right, today is the BIG day. Dad is turning 60 today! This picture was taken by Mom in Crail, Scotland. Mom and Dad got up early to walk on the beach and she got a really great one. Mom, Dad, Caity and I went out for lunch yesterday because Caity had to work today and we were at Jen and Kevin's for the weekend. I'm making a carrot cake with cream cheese frosting as he requested. So happy birthday Dad, you don't look 60 don't worry!!

As some of you may have already heard, we said a very hard goodbye to Ivy on Sunday. She was the best puppy we could've asked for and she will be sorely missed, but we're glad that she's somewhere without pain and is hopefully reunited with the cats, the rabbits, the guinea pig, and the bird. I found this picture of her from our first winter in Illinois, she loved the snow and couldn't get enough of rolling around in it and eat the snowflakes that fell on her face.

Happy Birthday, Dad!! We love you!
That's a really good picture of Ivy.
Happy Birthday John!! It's very encouraging, as a 50 year old, to see that 60 is no big deal! You wear it well. Hope to see the Bodines soon, we have a lot of catching up to do. Best wishes for the next decade, love, Candy (and birthday wishes from Steven, Rebecca & Emily too)
I think heaven for Ivy would be somewhere sans cats... just a thought.
