I finished the blanket...5 years in the making! It's entirely handstitched applique and it took quite a few hours of labor. All that's left are some finishing touches around the edges. YAY!
The bottom is my first sewing machine project. A shirt for Hawaii!

WOW!! They look awesome! I need to look at the blanket close up! It is SO cute! Doesn't it feel so good to make something with your own hands! I agree with Mom. You should tuck that blanket away and save it for your OWN babies. And now you know how to sew. Way to go, Laura!!
