Baby's Room!

We painted the baby's room this weekend! My painting clothes don't seem to fit quite as well as they once did. Weird. We had fun and are really happy with how the room turned out. This is just day one of painting. After the peach background, we did a stencil border.

Stenciling is harder than I thought. It didn't turn out perfect, but we are very happy with it. It matches really well with the bed spread.

We rearranged the room too. Initially we had the crib between two windows in the room, but it took up a lot of space, so we moved it next to Mike's desk and it really opened up the room. It was also a lot easier to paint.

For those of you who haven't seen the bed spread yet, here it is.
The pillow Elinore made is one the spread, waiting for the baby to arrive!

Now we just need to get the rest of the furniture and baby's things for the room to be complete. It's all coming together and getting more real. Last night I could hear baby's heartbeat with my stethoscope for the first time. Very, very cool. I'll probably be checking daily to hear it now. Baby's still head down, let's hope he/she stays that way!

It looks good! I really like the peach color you chose. And the crib looks great!

It looks so great!! Way to survive another home improvement project as a married couple! Each one makes you stronger!
Love you both!

Nice colors and jungle theme. Wallpapering will be your true test, but you're doing good!
